blaaaahhhh

batskeetsYesterday, I fell asleep around 8:30a and slept like a rock until 6p! My body is *really* not letting me go short on sleep this week, like at *all*.
I'm currently keeping up on my Flash skills by doing a re-hash of an old portfolio piece. It's going to be nicer-looking, and hopefully fuller-featured, when I'm done! I really want to buy the book I borrowed when I took the class now known as Web Art. As much as I didn't enjoy that class, that book was a really good Actionscript reference. I eventually want to make a silly Flash game, too, but I'm not sure what kind of game I'd make.
This weekend is going to be *nuts*! There are graduation-related events out the yang that I need to go to on Saturday, and then the wedding on Sunday. And, I'll probably have to spend most of today cleaning the house, so the various people coming by this weekend won't see an incredible mess. BLEH. Well, they'll see an insane amount of clutter no matter what, but I must vanquish the messy!

junsiew and I went out for white pad thai because we're like crack addicts and can't go without it for too long. ::rotfl:: (last time didn't quite count, either, because they didn't give us the extra peanut sauce with the takeout order) Then, we caught Harry Potter. I think I may actually break down and actually read the books. I've been resisting this fandom from the beginning, but I think the darker slant of the third film may have started to reel me in. ^^;
And geh, I'm surprisingly tired, so it's TiVo time, and then bedtime.

Date: 2004-06-11 06:47 am (UTC)As for fandom - may I suggest Harry/Snape? Harry/Draco? Hermione/Snape? Snape is a wonderfully dark character - a bastard, yet incredibly courageous, lojal, and resourceful, but with a very, very dark past. Even nummier!

Date: 2004-06-11 11:19 am (UTC)I'd been putting off reading the books for a couple years until this past spring break when my friends finally talked me into it (so I could read them before the third movie came out). I'm SO glad I did XD Got through all five in about three weeks (the first three go by really fast).
And Snape indeed rocks :) (though my fandom/ship of choice is still Remus/Lupin ^^")
