TiVo just caught the episode of Iron Chef where Kaga is depressed about their string of losses, and boycotts the battle, leaving poor Hattori-san to do the emcee duties! I love the way they inject so much dramatic flair into this show. :D And Chen saves the day, which makes it even better. :D (he's my favorite Iron Chef, although the rest are basically tied right behind him for 2nd)
Jeez, it seems as though TV and movies are all I *ever* talk about, recently. Well, either that or wushu. Cripes, I need to get out more. Or attack my To-Read pile.
I'm getting rather jazzed about a new freelance project, because it's looking like I'll get to be more artsy-fartsy and less utilitarian. I've been up to my eyeballs in database stupf for months, so I'm craving a bit of pure design work. Whee!
I think a shopping trip is in the near future, because I need more work clothes. :( Just a few button-down shirts would be an immense help, especially since one of the three that I regularly wear to work is starting to less resemble a shirt than a big blue tent that happens to be draped around my torso. I guess that's what I get for actually losing some weight. :p
I should go to sleep. But I hate going to bed, especially now that I'm sleeping even *longer* than usual. Blar. I think I'll freelance some more.
To do tomorrow: call podiatrist, and something else that I thought of earlier but can't remember now because I'm a loser! :p
EDIT: And now, a borderline fangirly moment: this interview makes me want a Sean Bean of my very own! Or at least a big-screen version of The Odyssey with him reprising the role of Odysseus. Odysseus is my friggin' HERO.
