I must remember to go out and pick up some things for my trip. I need new hairpins, so I can have cute-yet-functional odango hair at the tournament, without drawing blood from my own scalp in order to keep them in. The little plastic tips have fallen off my current hairpins, so there are a lot of little, jabby, metal edges waiting to poke me in the head, should I decide to attempt anything remotely interesting with my hair.

I also need to get some healthy snacks to take with me, so I don't come home feeling like someone poured sugar and grease straight down my throat. ;p I'm thinking I can take some celery and peanut butter, a few breakfast bars, and some soy nuts, for a start. I really wish I could bring a cooler or something like that, because I'm sure I'll start craving fresh fruits and vegetables while I'm there.

Also, I have to pack my stuff, but I might wait until after work to do that. I haven't decided if I'm going to attempt sleep tomorrow night, or just wait until I'm in the van with nothing to do but read and knit. After being so wired the night before collegiates, maybe being sleep-deprived will do me good.

Meeting in the afternoon. So not ready for it. I'd rather just sleep in and call it good.

Well, at least my evening was actually productive. I think I'll take on that extra freelance work, after all. :)
