batskeetsToday has been productive, but also quite nice. I'm in good spirits. However, there is a late-starting basketball game tonight, so things could still get hairy when I go to work. Let's hope not.
I dropped off my resume at Cafe Paradiso today, because they're looking for full-time, daytime help. It has a nice atmosphere, and I can think of several nice folks whom I've known that stop(ped) there at least semi-regularly, so I think I'd enjoy working there. And, although it's in the realm of food service, it's not *fast food*, so that's good news. There's nothing worse for one's diet and one's sanity than a job in fast food. ;p
Hrm. I guess I'm not so much in a writing mood--I can't think of anything else to mention. Maybe it's because my brain is still swimming with PHP and MySQL queries. :) So, I'm off.
EDIT: Apparently, because of the controversy around gay marriages being performed in Oregon, Benton County has stopped issuing marriage licenses. To EVERYONE. Hee. :)
