"Rise from your grave!"
Mar. 22nd, 2004 07:59 pmI'm having fun so far with this meme, so I'll post it again:
Pick something off of my interests list and either:
a)ask me about one you're unfamiliar with or
b)ask me about one that doesn't seem like something I'd like.
Ask about multiple ones, if you like. I'm sure there are a few that may astound or perplex. :)
I hauled myself way out to the west end of Eugene to go donate today, and the plasma center was closed. *AGAIN*. According to the sign on the door, they don't even sound sure of when they'll reopen. Great job, guys. :p Fortunately, I had a couple other things to do at that end of town, but I'm still greatly annoyed by the fact that I keep going way out there and coming back empty-handed.
junsiew: Shall we wushu tomorrow? Let me know what your schedule is like; I need to get off my lazy butt! I'm thinking maybe 5 or 6p.
addiew: you can certainly join us if you want, but I suspect you're pretty darned busy already :)
I'm playing with databases right now! It's taking a bit of concentration, but I'm having fun, and making good progress. *And* getting paid for it. Whee! This is how work *should* be, na? Productivity is good. More work lurks on the horizon, too, so I'm feeling good about that.
I have a shift later on at Ye Olde Vomit Comet. It's a little odd to think that I'll only be saying that three more times after this.
Anyhoo, more work needs doing, plus dinner.
Tomorrow: see if the Computing Center is open and get DDS password; go to bank; make some phone calls; send out even more resumes.Twee.
