batskeetsAnyone want to go to Indigo tonight? (Saturday) I was thinking while I was at work that it might be nice. Otherwise, I will probably go see Ichi The Killer at the Bijou--by myself, more than likely, because I'm told it's a pretty strange/disturbing flick, and I'm not even sure what to expect, so I'd be a bit reluctant to invite people along.
So, yeah, I'd rather hang out with people on my Saturday than be alone...
God, I've been so manic today that it's downright irritating. I didn't *used* to get like this around this time of the month. I used to think that I was one of those lucky girls who somehow dodged the moodiness bullet, but the last few times, I've been ultra-cranky. Fortunately, I'm not the sort who would get visibly cranky with other people, but it bothers me that I'm feeling this way at all.
Anyway, I started off in a good mood while I turned in job applications, and then got in a crappy mood when I went to the store. I went to wushu after that and got back in a good mood again, until the jump practice at the very end, because I didn't feel like I was getting anything out of it. So, back to the crappy mood, and then back in a good mood again when I had dinner here at home, up until 2/3rds of the way through my shift.
Then, some cop came along razzed me about being pulled over at 1000 Alder, because I was "blocking the entire street." Never mind the fact that A) we were waiting for a rider to get in the van, B) another car had pulled past me with little effort less than a minute before the cop's arrival, and C) it was a yellow curb, which technically means that it's a loading zone. (right?) And normally, there are cars lined up along the non-yellow curb on the other side of the street, so there's really *nowhere* to pull over when we pick people up at that frat house. So, back to the cranky.
But, now my shift's over, and we found that we did really well on tips, so I am ending my evening more towards the good side than the cranky side. Good!
