Bleh x 2

I'm not feeling very well today. :p So, I haven't been doing much. I really don't want to go to work or practice or anything today. Sleeping sounds good. Maybe playing some games, but nothing that requires actual effort. I feel bleh. I'd better not be getting sick!! :p

I'm getting sick of hearing about The Passion, enough so that I may just avoid watching it out of spite. Seriously, whoever is behind these cookie-cutter junk e-mails, message board posts, and journal comments needs to get lost.

I think I'm going to run a quick errand or three, and see if the fresh air makes me feel any better.

EDIT: Well, *that* didn't work. I popped some Excedrin, and that doesn't seem to be doing much, either. So, I guess I'm staying home from practice, and I'm only going to work because there's no way I'll find a sub within the next 3 hours. :p

We'd better get a decent turnout at Friday's practice, though, or I'll be 10000x annoyed! :p

You know, Sarah--GOD has a plan for you, you just don't know it yet... perhaps if you went and saw The Passion of the Chi...

:D

Part of me wants to see "The Passion" because Jim Cavizel is an *excellent* actor and I adore him. I'm also curious to hear the Aramaic language spoken at length.

The other part knows it's going to be gross and brutal like "Black Hawk Down", which I simply can't stomach. Nor can I stomach the hordes who will go to see it simply because it's the "thing to see". ><

Thus, I think I'm gonna skip it.

Yeah, that's the only thing that strongly interests me about the movie, too. He did a great job in The Count of Monte Cristo, even if they did hack apart the original story. And the poor guy got struck by lightning, even, so I feel kind of bad for him. :)

Hope you feel better soon, Sarah! You didn't miss much in practice; all we did was go over basics and run through our forms. It was a fairly light practice. I also asked Phil about when we need to start bringing our straightswords (cause I don't feel like carrying it to every practice if I don't need to) and he said he'd let us know before he starts teaching us the form.

See you Friday! :)

I'm not going to see The Passion either. For a variety of reasons.

YAY SOUTHERN! :D Are you going to be at practice on Friday? That might be a good time to start, b/c hardly anyone seems to show up regularly on Fridays anyway...

Now, maybe if we all whine and complain enough, Phil will teach us the straightsword sooner and faster. :)
