boring day

Today was pretty blah, overall. I got more freelancing done, washed some dishes, and watched Survivor and CSI. Yep, exciting times. Right now, I'm working at the Vomit Comet, covering for someone else who couldn't make it. Money good! $$$

Tomorrow, I attempt to get up early enough to go to Aventis and donate, and possibly do some sewing, if I have time. Oh yeah, and I'll also be working, for the 4th night in a row. Gah. x_x

And of course, there's also wushu practice. I hope we finally finish off the form tomorrow, so I can spend all of next week polishing it up. I'm curious as to how we'll all do.

Well, I guess there are other things I should be doing, so I'm off.

as for placing at stanford- those things are weird, some of them we have shown up and been the only girls there (so we all placed) other times we showed up and there were 20 other girls competeing...
usually UO places in the top 15 (most of the local teams have people who started only a few days before) ...

I find it a surprisingly supportive group and fun,,, even for me, the person who hates competing more than anyone in the world...

We practice 5p-7p on Fridays, although sometimes Friday is kind of a slacker day. More info lives here (http://www.geocities.com/uowushu/). :)

Random aside: were you at John Henry's tonight? (Thursday) I thought I saw you milling around outside when I was driving DDS, but we went by too fast! I need to come w/you sometime--80's night is so fun!

Jes, jes I was at John Henery's =) It was the good times. I saw your van go by I think, though I didn't know it was actually dds (I just saw the UO on the side). You should give me your number and I'll call you the next time we go.

I'm gonna check out wushu next friday then, it looks like such fun whenever I walk by. I can't come tonight because of a super fun cookie baking party.

Actually, I don't think we'll be there next Friday! Next weekend is Collegiates, so I think we'll be driving down to Stanford all day. You should come the week after, though! It's hella fun. :)
