batskeetsSo guess what? NONE of my stuff arrived today. My dad's going to be ticked off, too, because the tablet was supposed to arrive possibly by yesterday, but *definitely* by today. So. Annoyed! :p
So, I got a phone call today about possibly doing some web work for a local startup! ::flips out:: It's not even something that I applied for; they just found my resume online and gave me a call. They don't sound too sure of being able to pay me any exorbitant rate right away, but if I can get some formal experience, make contacts, or add to my resume/portfolio, then it's still worth something to me. Although, money *would* still be good. If they paid me decent, I could quit early at DDS.
Anyway, it looks like I'm meeting with them in a few days to discuss it in more detail. This should be interesting, na? :)
I have to work at the Comet tonight, so it'll be nice to make some freaking money. ;p Wednesday nights are pretty crammed together for me, between the 2 hours of wushu and 5 hours of work, with only an hour in between to shower and eat, but eh, I'll live.
I'm off for now. Wushu in an hour or so.
