batskeetsI'll be seeing The Last Samurai today, I believe. We're still a bit up in the air about what time, but it's got to be 6:30 or 7:05. I'm excited anyway. Whee!
I have work sometime after that. I'll probably have to go straight to the office from the movie, if we go to the later show, because it's supposed to be a long film.
The job hunt is starting to feel less perilous, now. I'm starting to see more ads for jobs requiring skills that I already have, and positions that I *know* I'd be awesome at. I stumbled upon an ad on Craigslist for a guy looking for web designers local to Portland, and even though I'm currently in Eugene, he sounds like he wants to try and offer some freelance-y work to me. There another company that I could do good things for down by my parents' place. I even found a classified position at the University which is kind of half-computer support and half-web design/administration, and I have prior experience doing both.
Of course, this is all a bit premature, since it's only been a day or so, and it's obviously too early to know if I will even be offered an interview. But, I feel like less of a plebe, at least. I must strike out in search of good interview mojo! I need an occasion to wear the suit I bought! :)
