batskeetsDamnit, I've had this song stuck in my head since last night. I don't even feel particularly strongly about it, one way or the other! Aaaaagggghhhh.
I spent last night before work coding like a mo'fo' for ONHW, because deadlines are starting to loom in the background.
Every so often, this project reminds me of one of the reasons why I sometimes hate/mostly love programming and scripting: when a piece of code is broken in some imperceptible way, and you've tried everything you can think of, without success, to make it work, it tends to make you want to scream your head off and/or throw the computer out the window. BUT, when you actually manage to *fix* the broken code, you go around for the rest of the day feeling like Champion of the Universe or something. Hee. :D
I don't have to work at the Comet today! Wooo!
Random thing I hate about some fans: those who are rabid fans of a TV show, and have therefore decided that no other TV show could POSSIBLY be good or at all worth watching. See, I saw a random QAF fan who was mildly harshing on Six Feet Under today, and talking about how QAF has the much better story.
Now, I like QAF and I *do* think that it has a good story, buy I've also heard from several people that Six Feet Under is actually a *really* good show, and probably better than QAF as far as quality of writing. I mean, yeah, I enjoy watching QAF, but I don't think that it's far-and-away the most well-written show on television. Jeez. Just because it has pretty men humping each other doesn't mean it's quality TV. ;p
Uh, yeah. I had other thoughts, but they seem to have slipped away. Out for now. ::poof::
