"Nothing says lovin' like a car grill!"
Sep. 8th, 2003 03:00 amI'm fairly choosy about what chefs I watch on Food Network, so I must admit to thinking that, from the few snippets I'd seen in my channel surfing, the guy on Surreal Gourmet came off as some wank novice who yanked a few too many hair styling tips from David Boreanaz. (Seriously. Look at this guy. ::rotfl::)
But then, we happened upon this episode the other day, and I must admit to being impressed.
Yes, he actually cooked a fish ON A CAR ENGINE. The car was actually in motion while the fish was cooking! And it actually came out good! Or at least, it looked like a well-cooked fish on the tele, anyway. I still think the guy's kind of a wanker on the whole, but this? Pretty damned cool.
