"Look, dad, I'm not gonna do drugs. I want to be the first chubby comedian to live past 35."
Reading the Fametracker forums is an odd experience, at times, because you'll happen upon completely random bits of trivia that you'd never think to ask for. Case in point: Kirk Cameron has flipped his lid in the name of the Lord. And no, that statement wasn't meant to offend Christians--I am not a big fan of loud and obnoxious Fundies, but I know you're not *all* crazy. That article, however, just makes the guy sound like he has completely lost touch with reality, is several tacos short of a combination plate, and other similar phrases pointing towards Nutty.
Also, "The Way of the Master" *totally* sounds like it should be a 1970's kung fu film.
Tonight, there will be hair extensions! Honestly, I'd been wanting to put them in for a while, but I'd been holding off because I was looking for work, and then because I worked in a place where they actually had a dress code. But faux-hawks, nerdy t-shirts, and jeans are de rigueur at my new place of employment, so IT IS TIME. :D
Speaking of which, so far, the lack of a stringent dress code seems to make me want to dress *better* than I used to. WTF's with that? ;p
In less fun news, I need to call the podiatrist about my foot troubles! It's boring and probably kind of gross, so I won't go into it, but it's been keeping me from practicing wushu for the past couple of weeks, and that is completely unacceptable. I miss it SO MUCH. Aaaagggh.
Anyhoo, James is making food tonight because he's awesome, so I get to sit on my duff for a bit longer than usual. Yay! I'm thinking some Puzzle Pirates may be in my future. :)
