Man oh man, I finished my main knitting project today, and it is *awesome*! I boxed it up and wrapped it, and it's ready to go. In retrospect, I probably should have taken pictures, but eh, I'll just wind up making something like it later on.

I have most everything done. I just need to jam some clothes into a suitcase really quick, and toss it in the car. Oh, and gather together a few snacks for the road, because I'm hoping I won't have to stop anywhere for lunch. I kind of meant to be asleep by now, but my miscellaneous projects took a while today.

So, I sat through Unscrewed after reading pyrobaby's comments about it, and, uh, I was wrapping presents, so I wasn't dutifully paying attention, so much. BUT, I saw Wil Wheaton and Alex Chiu singing Jingle Bells together! So it was all worth it.

Anyway, I don't know if I'll post before I leave in the morning--depends on how long it takes me to shake off the sleepies--but I'll likely make a phone post or two from Somewhere Along I-5. I will *hopefully* have regular internet access at my parents' and grandpa's houses, even if it's via modem. (apparently, my bandwidth whoredom is *not* genetic. ::rotfl::) Maybe I'll pop up on IM sporadically.

So, hey, feel free to send me an e-mail while I'm gone, but don't be surprised if I take a little longer to reply. :)

I guess I'll finish packing, now. Note to self! Remember: sunglasses, cooler, cell phone, and road atlas.
