You steppin'?

So we went to Wunderland tonight and I got my DDR fix! I did some PHAT STEPPIN'. I tried songs that I normally screw up bigtime and I actually slogged through them all the way. Completing any mix of Trip Machine is kind of an achievement for me. ^^;;;;; I'm getting better! I am almost hoping that Buzz is still obsessed with DDR come Christmastime, because the prospect of kicking his butt at it is oh-so-delicious. :D

See, Buzz (my cousin, BTW) is probably the only cousin on my dad's side that I actually want to be around for any purpose beyond plain ol' family bonding, because he likes geekstuff. My other cousin talks about nothing but sports, and the remaining one is in elementary school. But the pitfall of hanging out with Buzz during the holidays is that you constantly have him kicking your ass at video games. Video gaming is one of the few group activities available to us that actually interests him on a major level, and he's far more obsessive about his interests than I will ever be with any one thing, so my slightly-above-mediocrity skills aren't much of a foil for his insanely practiced hand.

But, DDR is the kind of game that plays very much to my underlying talent for rhythm and music-related things, so I get the feeling that I'm expending less effort than he is to be equally good. And that RULES. :D I will 0wnz j00!! Well, in theory, anyway.

After that we made food and watched movies, which is berry nice. :D Even though I had to watch Smokey and the Bandit AGAIN, for like the 50000th time in the past two weeks, I had fun. Now we are talking about the usual weird crap that we talk about. ::rotfl:: Somebody was looking in the window down here earlier and smiling at me, and the lighting outside was such that A) I couldn't tell if I knew the person, and B) they looked *really* creepy in that weirdo psycho stalker from the movies sort of way. One of the cons of a first-floor apartment, I guess. ^^;

I want to go dancing soon. And play Everquest, or some other soul-sucking game, because I have all kinds of unscheduled time coming at me for the rest of the month. :D And I want an excuse to wear something fancy, or something leather. Either one.

ANYWAYS! Um, I've been typing for 15 minutes or so, so I'd better stop.
